You are what you eat.

Weekends. What is it about them that always seems to break my daily routing and diet? I am now determined to eat healthy. This past weekend was not absolutely horrendous mind you, but I did eat more processed food than I normally do (which is almost none at all). I had my nieces and nephew over for the weekend and pretty much wasn't paying attention to what I was putting on my plate. Eating things I shouldn't makes me feel weird, I feel slower and not all there. Why do I even put myself through it? Oh, I know why.

That's why! :D
I think I will take it easy for a while, I don't believe in restricting anything, moderation is key. I seem to save all my "rations" for the same day though (but not on purpose). It's a new week with my new kindle and new book obsessions (historical romances) I will start with a great big salad with tomatoes and cucumbers and carrots. I am apparently craving veggies and fruits at the moment...

What does the new week bring for you?

Happy Monday!

This week is all about organization for me. I have been so scatter brained between work, school, reading, blogging, and relationships. I made myself a custom calendar in Microsoft Excel, and it will go everywhere with me so I don't have a "oh crap, I forgot" moment.

with all this rain... the new week is bringing more time to read (the rain knocks out my internet) and cuddle up in my cozy...

okay, and I still have to do art class for the kids school... and meet with the museum committee... and the midnight show of Harry Potter... and GNO... and bloggy boot camp... but I'm most excited about curling up and reading :)

I ALWAYS cheat on the weekends. I can't help it. HA!

I, too, find that eating a lot of crap just makes me feel crappy and run down :o/ But I also agree that restricting yourself has the effect of making one go overboard! That's no good either. I'm starting to crave fruits and veggies too! I haven't done groceries in a few days and sometimes I just want something refreshing to munch on!

It's funny because whenever I eat junk food I end up accomplishing all of nothing because it wears me out - eating in moderation is always a great idea!

The new week brings work, work, and more work for me! With the holidays so close I am beginning to feel overwhelmed. But a good overwhelmed, of course!! :P
