'Tis the season.

The weather is wonderfully foggy and gray, I am hoping we have no more heat waves! Even though I get cold easily and have to wear layers and sleep with lots of blankets there is still something cozy about this kind of weather. I like how it encourages people (myself heartily included) to stay indoors and just hang out watching movies, baking, and reading(!). This is also the time of year when most families gather at least once. This year I plan to go all out for each holiday as I have always wanted to. Growing up Thanksgiving was always about cooking, dining, and talking to family members I had not seen in a while (sometimes years). I am determined this year to contribute with dessert which has always been my forte. I would like to share with y'all what I will be attempting to make this year. Even though I always seem to be posting about food I apologize ahead of time for the cravings the following photos might incite:

Chocolate Pecan Pie: recipe

Blueberry Cinnamon Animal Cookies: recipe

Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Cake: recipe

The best part is...they're all vegan! Big thanks to The Gluttonous Vegan for all the amazing recipes and delicious photos :D

What Thanksgiving dish are you most looking forward to?

Happy Tuesday!

These look delicious!!! I've always been a fan of pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving, as well as Turkey! We usually spice it up with some arroz con guandules and some other spanish dishes, but tukey is always the staple :)

Ohmigosh the Blueberry Cinnamon Animal Cookies are ADORABLE! Love love!

I am most looking forward to fudge! I make it every year; and though I have never even tasted it before due to the fact that my sister eats all of it the minute it is ready (I'm serious), I love making it!! :)
