Roadtrip!

This past Labor Day weekend my mom, sister, and I drove to Los Angeles to visit my aunt and her family. We left at five in the morning to beat traffic and the heat. I have to admit, long drives aren't exactly my thing, but it was worth it because we finally got to meet the newest member of the family, Abri! And I was asleep almost the entire time :)

The trip back seemed faster, but it still looked like an endless road!

It wasn't until we were closer to home that I finally saw lots and lots of trees and green.

All in all it was pretty ok for a 5 hour drive...with music!

I was going to post everything we did in LA, but I decided to split it up into two. Second half will come Monday :D

Happy Thursday!

Road trips are super fun! I plan on taking one back to my hometown with my boyfriend at the end of this month. We attend my hometown carnival every year. It's like a tradition for us. He always drives. I just have to be good company and not fall asleep in the car. :)

The baby is absolutely beautiful! You are terribly lucky. My family is quite small. When I get married (one day...), I want to have a large family! Thanks for sharing such a special moment Anaiz!

I'm the complete opposite, I LOVE road trips!! I wish I could do them more often, but I don't really have the time (or reason) to do it!! Abri is such a doll!! Congrats on the new addition to the family!

Your neice (neice? or second cousin?!) is so beautiful!
Road tripping must be a very American phenomenon because here in Aus we just don't do it that much. Probably because the outback is rife with murderers and rapists and it's so cheap to fly interstate.
Congratulations on surviving a five hour trip! I would have been begging for death by the second hour. Hope you had plenty of car snacks x

Music or not, I am incapable of surviving long car rides - I get car sick and antsy!! :P
