A purchase you can feel good about

I usually don't post on the weekends, but starting today I will write about a charity or program each Saturday. I will start with a charity that is currently on display at Costco. It's the Rwanda Basket Co. which is a program of Rwanda Partners. It gives weavers in Rwanda training, tools, and support to reduce poverty. The best part about this program is that each product you buy has the story and picture of the weaver who made it. I bought a beautiful brown and green trivet that I absolutely love. Here are some pictures of their products from Rwanda Baskets:

As you can see the products are gorgeous and they have many colors to match any decor. Please check out the website to see and read more about the program or go to your local Costco and check out their selection if they have set up a post. Check out Rwanda Partners for more programs they run for genocide victims in Rwanda. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

The red plate looks perfect for placing by the front door and keeping your keys, glasses and wallet handy. There is nothing worse than a visually challenged person looking for their keys! LOL. Thanks for the great post.
