This year's fourth of July was a lot of fun. There were more fireworks (and more "imported" ones if you catch my drift) than the previous year, which seems to be an ongoing trend. The court was blocked off and my sister in laws brother was the DJ and they had a water slide for the kids, it was so great to see all the neighborhood kids playing together and having a blast *sigh* oh to be a kid again. On the other hand I too had a blast because I finally got to make patriotic desserts! I made rice krispie treats with blue and red sprinkles:

The patriotric desserts looks fun and I totally get the "imported" fireworks too! We had plenty of those as well ;)
