Spooky books for younger readers

I received two books from Tundra Books to share with you all today! They are for younger readers (I'd say elementary/middle school) but I enjoyed them as well.

The first book is Monsterology: Fabulous Lives of the Creepy, the Revolting, and the Undead.
This book was pretty fun while still sharing real information on various monsters including the Loch Ness Monster and Medusa. In the beginning of the book is a charming little map of the world with icons of the different monsters showing where they can be found. I live near Big Foot, nice! It includes a lot of information on the monsters like their age, birthplace, and style rating(!). They even share some high school memories and their favorite movies. Some fun jokes and real spooky information make this a fun Halloween time read for all monster fans!

The second book is Ghost Trackers: The Unread World of Ghosts, Ghost-Hunting, and the Paranormal. This book will be released on October 12. This book is inspired by the show Ghost Trackers which I admit I've never seen.

This book has information on all things ghostly. It begins with information on ghosts in history, famous ghosts, and different types of ghostly phenomena. It then goes into how we may become a ghost tracker ourselves and where to find one. The spookiest parts of this book are the pictures, there are pictures of ghosts, castles, and real mediums. If you or someone you know is into ghosts and ghost stories definitely check this one out or catch the show sometime on television.

Here is the second clue:

I'll be gathering the links for all the extra points for your Amazon giveaway, and enter the contest tomorrow. I'm so giddy!

I remember when I read spooky kiddie books when I was younger. I think the series was called Goosebumps. Darn, it sure gave me sleepless nights!
